⛳ Community for fathers
Sonora Dodd (1882-1978) from Spokane, Washington, first suggested a “Father’s Day” in 1909 after listening to a Mother’s Day sermon. She hoped to establish a day to similarly honor her father, William Smart, who was a widowed Civil War veteran with 6 children and a farm. Finally, in 1972, President Nixon signed the holiday into law.

Turn an Ordinary Day into an Adventure!
Is there anything more magical than the thrill of a treasure hunt? This month, we invite you and your little explorer to experience the wonders of a Nature Scavenger Hunt. It's a simple yet incredibly engaging activity that will ignite your child's curiosity about the world around them.
Nature Scavenger Hunt Edition:
Create a Checklist: Work together to create a list of items to find or observe in nature. Include a mix of simple and challenging items, encouraging your little one to use their senses and observational skills.
Pack the Essentials: Equip your team with a small backpack containing essentials like water bottles, snacks, and a magnifying glass for those up-close explorations.
Choose Your Location: Head to a local park, nature reserve, or even your backyard. The goal is to immerse yourselves in the beauty of the outdoors.
Start the Hunt: Begin the adventure by sharing the checklist with your little one. As you explore, encourage them to tick off items as they find them. This can include spotting different types of leaves, identifying animal tracks, or discovering unique rocks.
Reflect and Learn: After the hunt, take a moment to discuss the items found. Share interesting facts or encourage your child to express what they enjoyed most about the experience. This reflection enhances the educational aspect of the activity.

GEAR GUIDE
Must Have Gear for Dads
DadGang Co. is a company that was established out a fun idea between a group of dads. We would share stories of what it's like being a dad and usually end the conversation with the term DadGang. So we made some hats!
We started with just 100 hats and those sold out in less than 36 hours. We thought it was a fluke so we made more and they sold out again. We kept going until we sold over 15,000 hats in one year.
Now we have a full collection of DadGang hats and growing the brand one step at a time with the support of an amazing community.
